1 Do you seek financial independence? (Dumb question. Of course you do!)

2 Do you yearn to do something with real purpose? (Sorry, another dumb question.)

3 Do you embrace the idea of inspiring kids to love reading and writing, as well as stomping out childhood world hunger? (What’s not to love?)

4 Do you enjoy sales? (Loaded question right?) Some of you may be squirming now. That’s ok. In my experience as a Mom and constant creator of things, I’ve found that staying home in my cave is of most comfort to me, yet I know it doesn’t bring about the greatest growth for me as a person. It’s that whole comfort zone thing. When I step out of my cave and share this great passion I have for The Bunk Room, amazing things happen. If you have the courage to share this joy with  many people, then being a local publisher may be  for you.

Keep in mind that this is a fun business but still a business. If you embrace inspiring kids to love reading and writing, as well as stomping out world hunger you are, indeed, a potential publisher. You also have to love sales. Your role as a local publisher is primarily in sales and distribution. You’ll have to work smart and you’ll probably have to work hard too, but you will, no doubt, find all of this work to be a personally, professionally and financially satisfying. This is NOT a get rich quick deal. This is an opportunity to build an amazing business, with very little up-front cost. But as with any new business, there are no guarantees, yet the potential for limitless rewards!
